(Comment as footnote, pt. 1.) Upon review, no, I cannot see this scar any better than I can in photographs. And why would I want to? What a morbid little quip in a post meant to convey exuberance and nuthin' but. Must defend myself by declaring it insomniac shorthand for, "Dig his serene assured power in his last impoverished years, after a life of toil and killing and prison and even being left for dead!"
